"Just for an hour, f**k everything..." Madeline Link must have been born in the late 90s, yet she's steeped in the indie rock of the years just before she was born. Her aesthetic is so coloured by The Good Stuff that this album could have been presented to me as a lost gem from that era and I'd have taken it as gospel. Fans of Pavement and The Shins in particular will take Packs to their hearts, but there are also lovely little echoes of Bilinda Butcher at times. Beautiful, melodic slacker tones

Once you start listening, good luck stopping. Banger after banger. Could not choose a favorite song for the life of me. Reminds me of a lot of goth new wave I listened to growing up, yet is novel and original in its own right. Play this at my birthday, wedding, funeral, play this when I'm stuck in purgatory for eternity.
